Let me tell you how I became Artysta Boutique
With a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design
I've been a practicing Jewelry Artist
and Instructor for over 15 years, offering my clients unique,
personalized items and attention to detail.
I was a graphic designer for over 8 years in Wisconsin and decided to take a break when my husband and I moved out to Pheonix, AZ. While shopping in a local craft store I picked up a wire jewelry making book and taught myself how to make jewelry. After making gifts for friends and family I started selling my pieces to friends and people I met while out in public.
A manager asked what I was making with the products I bought at their store one day, and she wanted to see them. I thought it was strange that a manager would ask me that, but after showing her some of the items I made, she offered me a job to be a class instructor at their store. I enjoyed showing people that they could make their own jewelry very easily and inexpensively.
A new bead store had opened up down the road from our house and I decided to investigate. I introduced myself and the owner had mentioned she had heard of me from the customers I had taught at the craft store. She offered me a job on the spot to teach classes and to demonstrate new projects they were offering. The bead shop's atmosphere was a perfect fit for me, I enjoyed it a lot. While working there for 2 years I thought it would be great someday to open my own store.
Missing family and friends back home in Wisconsin my husband and I decided to move back. We opened A Cute Bead in November of 2005 then in 2016 we updated our name to Artysta Boutique to include our other great services of Repair, Refashion and Natural Henna Art.
We are a family owned business and are the proud parents of four beautiful children.
Thank you for reading my story and
helping make my dreams come true at Artysta Boutique
